I feel a deep, magical, spiritual connection to my home.
It is alive – flowing with a life energy that feeds my family and nurtures us with protection, stability and strength. It gives my husband, son and I the foundation to go out into the world and create and live joyfully. For years I have cultivated this energy through intentions and daily practices without really understanding what I was doing … all I knew was that my home felt good and this wonderful energy was felt by others who walked through its doors.
I launched HomeHearted Living in 2021 as a passion project to share my love of what I called “spiritual homemaking”. Little did I know my blog site would literally change my life.
Call it kismet, luck or divine intervention, but one year later I randomly met the incredible Feng Shui practitioner Amanda Gibby Peters, and guess what? She loves spiritual homemaking just as much as I do! She combines the ancient wisdom of Feng Shui with intentional design and sprinkles it with touches of other yummy energetic practices. THIS is what I’ve been doing for so many years! FENG SHUI!
Under her expert guidance, I became a fully certified House Therapist. I teach and empower others to view their spaces as living, breathing entities that hold enormous influence over their experiences. I’ve been given the language to explain this beautiful connection – chi, chi enhancers, the bagua map, the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, the balance of yin and yang and the glorious practice of biophilia.
My Shui cup runneth other with wisdom to share and magic to create!
Living spaces are alive and have an energy which must be nurtured and supported, which turn, nurtures and supports the people living there.
At the core of HomeHearted Living is the belief that your home is a member of the family – and like all family members – deserves the utmost care and respect. This loving relationship creates a reservoir of positive energy (chi) in your space, helping you live a life of alignment, joy and love. It doesn’t matter if you live in a mansion, an apartment or a room in your parents’ house, you can tap into this flow and use Shui to create lasting change in your life.
